KEEPING THE BATTERIES OF YOUR SCOOTER VITAL!

To keep the batteries of your scooter vital, it is very important that you charge the batteries regularly and completely. Some customers complain that the capacity of the batteries quickly deteriorates. In most cases, this is due to the fact that charging procedures are not followed or not followed correctly, and customers underestimate the impact on the life of the batteries. A regular and fully charged battery will normally last 2 to 4 years.

Here we give  the most important rules:

- Charge the batteries daily after use.- When you recharge the batteries for 6-8 hours, the light of your charger will turn green but then the batteries are only 90% charged. In practice, this means that the first green LED light will go out very quickly.

- To charge them to 100%, you need to charge the batteries 4 hours more after the charger has turned green. For the bigger scooters this means: charge the battery every day after use from dinner to breakfast: 8pm to 8am. Only then you will be able to use the full capacity.

Despite these measures, please note that the specified capacity (max. distance) is an average. If you continuously drive on maximum speed the distance will decrease. The steepness of your road, your weight and the number of people will also have an effect on the distance you can ride. Because the durancy of the batteries depend so much on the way you treat them, we can not give more than 6 month guarantee. We recommend to have the batteries checked when they are 5 month.
